I absolutely love this. The golden koi turned out beautifully. I love the water flow and waves and the delicate looking sakura.

i use ballpoint pens for outlining
and color pencils for shading.

the pencils i buy are about $2 each.
they are sorta soft like pastels. so they blend pretty well.

They are made by Mitsubishi!
haha
i live in Japan so it might be hard to find them anywhere else.
or you MIGHT be able to find them online. i highly recommened them if you do find them. very clean and long lasting pencils.
